INFERNO is a powerful series by Leslie Hossack that transforms scientific data into art. Each work is a visual record of our changing planet, from wildfires and rising seas to shrinking glaciers, reminding us of the fragility of nature and the urgency of response.

Lives in Ottawa & Vancouver
Leslie Hossack lives in Ottawa and considers Vancouver her home away from home. She pursued photography and the visual arts as a second career, studying at the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa and Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver. Leslieโs photographs have been exhibited across Canada, from Vancouver to Newfoundland, as well as in the United States. She is the author of ten books, and her images have appeared in publications in Canada, the US, and the UK, including the National Gallery of Canada Magazine.
Her work is held in private collections both at home and abroad, as well as in numerous public collections, including Library and Archives Canada; Canadian War Museum; Diefenbunker Canadaโs Cold War Museum; City of Vancouver; Nikkei National Museum in Burnaby; National Churchill Library and Center in Washington DC; Center for Creative Photography in Tucson Arizona; Churchill Archives Centre at Churchill College, Cambridge UK; and the libraries of the Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna, David Collection in Copenhagen, and Hirschsprung Collection in Copenhagen.
